Endowed
Scholarships are essential to assuring that UNCG continues
to compete for championships while attracting student-athletes
who will make Spartans proud. When a donor establishes
a perpetual athletic scholarship at UNCG, the gift is
placed in an endowment fund. The fund is invested so
that annual scholarships can be funded with a portion
of the dividends and interest earned. The remaining portion
is reinvested, enabling the scholarships to grow to offset
inflation and rising tuition costs.
The
cost of an athletic endowment at is $50,000. This can
be paid all at once or over time. Spartan Club Endowment
Donors have satisfaction of knowing that their gift will
support deserving student-athletes year after year.
