Club Golf Classic
The Spartan Club would like to thank the 95
players that participated in the golf classic
on Thursday, May 8th. We also want to recognize
the 21 companies that sponsored a hole. With
your help we raised over $20,000 to go toward
scholarships for UNCG student-athletes.
Many thanks to those on the golf committee:
Jack Arehart, John Bielski, Marc Bush, Michael
Godwin, George Hoyle, and Kevin McCoy. Next year's
18th Annual Spartan Club Golf Classic will be
held at Starmount Forest Country Club.
The winning team, which consisited of George
Hoyle, Jim Wilkie, Russell Myers, Don Dempsey,
and Emily Marron, UNCG's women's golf coach,
shot a 19 under 52!

The Spartan Club hosts a little over 20 socials
that include food, special beverages, and a lot of
fun for the whole family. Blue and Gold members ($250
annual giving) and higher are invited to all Spartan
Club Pre-Game Socials. Social passes have been sent.
